Job Description

Essential Qualifications:

  • Graduation with 5+ years of systems support analysis experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations
  • Knowledge and understanding of the incident and problem management lifecycle
  • Ability to manage a process and implement updates while caring for upstream and downstream impacts
  • Ability to perform problem identification and analysis
  • Understanding of policy, procedures and controls
  • Knowledge and understanding of ITIL
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experience in the identification of process improvements incorporating best practices and lessons learned
  • Ability to create and maintain process documentation
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or coordinating releases or projects
  • Demonstrated experience developing plans and associated tasks to complete small to medium sized work efforts
  • Demonstrated experience influencing team members within an organization
  • Ability to prioritize work based on sense of urgency
Required Experience:
  • Attention to detail and the ability to communicate the right level of detail to the right audience
  • Ability to work independently or with a team and multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Self-starter with strong technical skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Works with and manages cross functional teams to identify solutions, root cause, and best practice in accordance with problem management strategy and policy.
  • Track and communicate the status of problem resolution efforts with all levels of the organization, from highly technical to key business leaders
  • Exceptional listening, problem solving, negotiation, and facilitation skills
  • Advanced ITIL understanding and ability to demonstrate and clearly articulate understanding of Problem Management best practices as well as Incident Management, Change Management, and Knowledge Management processes
  • A Can Do attitude and a strong sense of urgency
  • Conduct EMIPM Root Cause Analysis for critical incidents with multiple stakeholders on high impacting incidents or events to identify Root Cause, the associated Preventative Actions, and the creation and publishing of detailed Summary of the RCA Report
  • Applies Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework knowledge
  • Identify solutions for risk mitigation
  • Create recommendations to eliminate the risk of reoccurrence and improve service quality
  • Keep leadership and team informed of any major issues that impact the environment and could affect system availability
