Responsibilities
Lead a virtual team with varied skillsets and across time zones in the ongoing implementation of an established data-driven monitoring surveillance program covering Sales Practice Risk, Conduct Risk, Compliance Risk, and Operational Risk arising in the ordinary course of front-line operations. Ensure that your team is positioned to offer input in process reviews, collaborate with Control Executive, Business Excellence, functional teams and operations partners to define metrics, ensure robust data sourcing, build a data visualization layer, and facilitate ongoing reviews.
Guide and coach your team as they leverage a variety of analytic techniques, including partnering with Decision Sciences for development of advanced analytics, to identify risk patterns and trends and provide insights into the Risk and Control environments. Implement peer review processes, and establish review routines with validation partners, to ensure comprehensiveness and accuracy.
Collaborate with leaders supporting other Consumer-focused businesses to optimize and develop the ongoing risk reporting necessary to support first line accountability for Self-Assurance Activity monitoring and other mission-critical activities. Understand the Monitoring Framework and ensure adherence across your team.
Set the direction and monitor execution of your team s implementation of Control analytics and metrics designed to supplement Front Line Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) programs.
Understand the strategic direction for the team you support working closely with the Analytic Manager who is accountable for the broader team s results. Translate this strategic direction into projects and tasks for your consultants, ensure this is well-understood by your team, and check in often with your accountable leader.
Leverage your business knowledge and analytic expertise as you guide your team. Their work should quantify emerging risks, and enable mitigation of those risks.
Build an analytic framework to ensure timely resolution of Issues, in partnership with Control Executive team, Business Excellence, functional teams, and operations leaders.
