Job Description
Electrical Design Engineer
Roles & responsibilities :
1. Develop design memos and calculations for Electrical design based on the relevant standards, local codes and site conditions meeting the client/developer specification for Pre-Bid & Post Bid Projects.
2. Preparation of basic design and drawings, tender specifications and bill of quantity, tender evaluation and discussion with vendor to technically finalise the vendor for executing the Electrical works.
3. Preparation of PV Plant layout, Cabling and Illumination Layout, Earthing Layout, Cable routing etc. using AUTOCAD, PVCASE.
4. Replying to Client/ Owners Engineers design and engineering queries during the post bid execution.
5. Preparation of Monthly Progress reports, Key Performance indices, Updating Master Document list for the purpose of reporting the engineering progress.
6. Attend review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge : Well versed with PV plant electrical design and sizing calculation using relevant software, codes and standards. AutoCAD , PVsyst, skills and Knowledge of EHV system will be added advantage.
Qualification : Full time graduate in Electrical engineering
Experience : 5 to 10 years

- Strong initiative and self-starter who will take on, own, and drive unstructured tasks with little supervision
- Ability to prepare bill of quantity (BOQ) with a fair accuracy.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of an interdependent team.
- Ability to quickly understand the basics of a variety of subjects relating to Solar energy, including civil and SCADA engineering designs and detailed drawings, construction related processes.
- Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
