Role / Title: Senior Developer - NodeJS

Job Description:

An experienced enough Node.js dev who enjoys the challenge of building scalable, high-performance back ends for complex applications

• Dreamer in data structures, SQL (NoSQL = MongoDB/Elastic Search all the way) is your second language, and you love the challenge of building a perfect API
• Comfortable with agile, iterative development practices and code reviews
• Live and breathe technology, believe in its power to make the world a safer place, and love working together with like-minded smart people

Requirement & Responsibilities:

• Thorough understanding of Node.js and its core modules
• Current experience with Node.js in production environments with over two years under your belt
• Experience in developing large-scale micro-service architecture backends and data processing pipelines
• Solid understanding of database modeling and design, including experience building data-intensive applications
• Strong knowledge of data structures, distributed algorithms, asynchronous architectures, scalability, and availability
• Experience working with APIs of various flavors, including crazy ones
• Experience with web apps utilizing Elastic Search is a plus
• Exposure to message queues such as Kafka, caching using Redis
• Expert understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• A Bachelor or Master of Engineering or Technology in Computers, Information Science, or Information Technology.
