Software Sr Engineer - Hyderabad @ Wells Fargo

About the Role

This is an individual contributor full-stack software senior engineer position for application development and enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Regarded across the enterprise as an expert in multiple identified areas of expertise with responsibility for developing standards and enterprise-wide best practices and for engineering complex, largescale technology solutions to address highly complex and cross-organizational issues.
• Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
• Maintains broad knowledge of other technology engineering disciplines and collaborating with other key experts to ensure we are making the right technology choices for Wells Fargo.
• Translates advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions.
• Expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices.
• Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.
• Provides expert counsel to senior technology leadership and advises and mentors others with the goal of knowledge transfer.
• Will represent Wells Fargo to external industry groups, influencing industry standards.

• University graduate in engineering or post graduate in computer applications
• 12+ years of web application development using Java/J2EE
• Strong experience in design and architecture of large scale secure and scalable web applications deployed on public cloud platforms
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, JQuery, Angular JS, HTML, JSON, XML, WebLogic/Tomcat and Web Services
• Proficient in Angular 9+ web development framework
• Hands on working experience in cloud technology platforms like Amazon Web Services or Pivotal Cloud Foundry
• Should have strong knowledge of Microservices and associated design patterns and Spring Boot
• Knowledge of Junit, Mockito and other testing frameworks
• Strong working experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
• Experience in working with RDBMS and noSQL databases.
• Well versed in common security issues faced in web application development and how to mitigate then
• Should have hands-on experience with Event Driven Architectures
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• An industry standard technology certification on cloud platforms like AWS or PCF
• Experience in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) & Domain Driven Development (DDD)
