Department Overview
The consumer Lending Technology group consists of Home lending, Auto, Cards and Platform support for various applications across retail/mortgage lending businesses. From achieving sustainable homeownership, managing credit, purchasing a car to financing college, Wells Fargo Consumer Lending cares about our customers. Today, our diversified team provides home lending, auto loans, credit cards, merchant services and student loans to more than 30 million customers About the Role Role is responsible for the design and development of highly scalable and robust applications, systems and research technologies to solve complex business problems.
The role demands ability to significantly contribute at all stages of project lifecycle and strong collaboration.
The individual should have deep background in core computer sciences and engineering, with experience in Distributed systems, Services at scale, UI/UX.
Work in a fast-paced iterative SDLC process using Agile methodologies. Ability to lead small teams and mentor them to solve complex problems. Responsibilties:
1 Design, develop and test software engineering solutions to perform at scale.
2 Work with stakeholders to research new technologies, frameworks, tools, proof of concepts. Develop reusable solutions that can be shared with multiple groups.
3 Write functional documents and design technical specifications.
4 Maintain full project life-cycle tasks, such as business and technical analysis, designing, coding, testing, and implementation plans.
5 Maintain all system diagrams, system interface charts and any other compliance policy and procedure documents.
6 Expected to contribute towards integrating complex platforms including several components with business domain and process context.
7 Invest effort in learning domain knowledge and mentoring the team on business functions.
8 Participate in organizational initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelors in engineering or equivalent with min of 14+ years of experience in the development of Java/Web applications.
should be strong at core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Multi threading, design patterns, SQL, Any RDBMS, Junit, Mockito, Angular 8, Git HUB, Maven
Proficiency in using code analysis and debugging tools, Jenkins
Must be cognizant of review and testing processes
Prior experience working in Agile Teams. Desired Qualifications
Gradle, MicroServices, MongoDB
Development experience on Cloud platforms like PCF
Secure SDLC process
Must be good at communication and interpersonal skills.
Possesses good knowledge of different software systems, client/server architectures and various compatibility requirements.
Experience in troubleshooting, software development processes and ability to understand and implement client requirements
