Opportunities for JAVA - Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer
Department: Software Department
Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai
Role & Responsibilities:
- Incumbents will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise SAAS applications catering to global clientele
- Incumbents will get an opportunity to solve complex business problems using niche technology stack of Core Java, Groovy on Grails, JQuery, Elastic Search & MongoDB
- Role comes with an opportunity to design & architect software systems with Big Data in tunes of 100s of millions
- Candidates will help solve problems of scaling & performance tuning the application to deal with Big Data
- Candidate may be also expected to mentor and lead a team of young engineers to execute product features
- Ability to articulate and present the points across (both verbal & written) during the problem solving lifecycle (ideation to implementation phase) is desired for this role
- Candidates will get exposure to Data Science including Machine Learning and Natural Language Process as part of the product development lifecycle
- 4- 8 years of hands-on development experience in Java, Hibernate, Spring, MySQL and at least one web frameworks like Struts, Grails or Ruby on Rails
- Ability to write high-quality code for software modules adhering to industry standards
- Hands-on experience with performance tuning and scaling the application
- At least 1 year of team mentoring and leading experience is a good to have
- A good understanding of NoSQL or Unstructured databases such MongoDB, Hive or Casandra is a good to have
- Real-world development experience working on large web portals is must
Skills & Attitude:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Education:
UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization
