Job Description
We have an opening for Global Perspective Teacher for IGCSE curriculum in one of the top most international schools in Mumbai.
Qualification-Possess a Bachelors Degree majoring in Humanities/Sociology/Social Science or equivalent; Masters' Degree in the subject. B.Ed. or equivalent.
Experience- Minimum2 years

Job Purpose
- Candidates should able to prepare and deliver lessons to Cambridge IGCSE standard to Year 10/11 students in Global Perspectives;
- Candidates should able to plan and deliver lessons up to Year 11 in developing individual and collaborative research based skills in environmental/humanities/global issues based topic areas.
- Candidates should able to evaluate and grade students class work, collaborative research work, assignments, and papers;
- Candidates should able to prepare course materials such as syllabus, homework assignments, and collaborative as well as individual research projects;
- Candidates should able to compile, administer and grade practical research projects as a means of compiled assessment at Cambridge standard and expectations;
- Candidates should able to keep abreast of developments in their field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues and participating in professional conferences.
- Candidates should able to a background in Humanities, Sociology, Social Sciences, Geography & History topics within the syllabus, would combine as an advantage to the role.
- Candidates should able to undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required.
- Candidates should have a good experience in delivering the Cambridge Curriculum, IGCSE or equivalent.
- Candidates should able to fluency in both spoken and written English.
- Candidates should have a skills of good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, exhibits self-motivation, high work standards and attention to detail.
