Job Description
SAP BASIS
Provides technical support on SAP Basis systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for performance, monitoring, systems configuration, design, and implementation.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Should have experience in SAP Basis / NetWeaver Administration.
- SAP BASIS, SAP HANA, and S/4 HANA experience including Public or Private Cloud
- Sizing and scoping of core SAP platforms (ECC, NetWeaver, SCM, BI/BW, Portal, XI/PI, Solution Manager, etc
- Work with vendor providers and business teams to troubleshoot application Performances on Cloud/ on-premises environment and other business-critical issues.
- Organize Day-to-day operations (Administration/Monitoring tasks) of the S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and ECC environments.
- Exposure to new dimensional SAP Products BOBI, Vertex, MDM, Content Server
- OSDB migration expertise
- Installations/ Upgrades, tuning and troubleshooting of SAP Suites and Modules (ECC/ GRC/ BOBJ/ BODS/ HANA) and Solution Manager
- Good hands-on experience in patching, backup/ restore, Capacity Planning, DR/ HA, and Basis troubleshooting (ABAP J2EE stacks) - SAP NetWeaver products implementation
- Excellent understanding of NW 7. 4, Net Weaver EP, GRC, and NWDI SAP HANA
- Should have basic Database knowledge (Oracle / DB2/ SQL Server)
- Required to perform the platform migration using SAP standard migration tools
- Should have a good understanding of SAP Version Upgrade and EHP Upgrade experience including CUUC scenarios
- Should have worked in the plan, analyze and design phases of SAP OSDB Migration engagements based on DC Migration Consolidation, Cloud-Based Migration, Migration to a hosted environment
