Summary
We are looking for a Senior User Assistance Developer to join our team. Our UA team creates and delivers user assistance content for several different products. These include SAP Business One and SAP Business ByDesign - SAP s ERP products for small and mid-sized businesses, and SAP Central Business Configuration - SAP's new solution for customers to scope and configure their S/4HANA Cloud software.
The Role
Work with product management, development and other roles to understand the product, and the information needs of the users
Plan and create user assistance deliverables, for example in-app help, guided tours, user guides, videos, and chatbot content
Help ensure a good user experience by providing user-friendly, consistent UI texts and terminology
Get the chance to interact with internal and external customers, for example by getting involved in usability testing
Be part of an international UA team, spread across five locations, and covering multiple products -offering great opportunities to learn and grow
Role Requirements
- A university degree in technical communication, engineering or a related subject, or a language-based university degree
- At least 5 years' experience in user assistance/technical writing, or in a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English language)
- Ability to work in virtual, cross-location, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage priorities, and a proactive approach to resolving problems and delivering results
- Experience Level - 5-11 years
