Job Title: Information Security Officer
Exp: 10 to 12 Years
Work Location: Chennai (OMR - Thoraipakkam)
Job Description:
- The Information Security Officer (ISO) provides the vision and strategies necessary to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of BCT Assets.
- Directs an on-going, proactive risk assessment program for all new and existing systems and remains familiar with the BCTs goals and business processes so effective controls can be put in place for those areas presenting the greatest information security risk.
- Maintains the asset labeling and asset classification.
- Evaluates any security incident for RCA.
- Security Compliance Auditing.
- General control testing
- Develop security awareness program and develop security culture within BCT.
- Working with RFP team during new bidding in security area.
- Vulnerability assessment.
- Audit and test media periodically to ensure the effectiveness of controls.
- Carry out spot checks to ensure that media management complies with BCTs policy.
- Conduct review of the user access rights once in a Quarter.
- Experience in License compliance with various OEM
- Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management
- Participate in the organizations vulnerability scanning and remediation activities
- In-depth knowledge of security systems and applications and a strong foundation in core area of security (e.g. OS hardening, DB hardening, Active Directory, DNS, Firewalls, IDS, IPS, Router, SIEM, DLP, networks and cloud security) is preferred
- Knowledge of one or more audit frame works (ISO 27001, SOC1, SOC2, ISO27K, PCI-DSS, GDPR, HIPAA)
- Partner with the CIO on organization, Strategy, Operations and Engineering, and IT Business heads to understand the BCT business and help minimize cyber security risks with existing solutions and new initiatives
