About the Team
ByDesign is a part of SAP Cloud SME Solutions & Content Unit, within the Product Engineering Group board area and contributes to SAP s Cloud portfolio by ensuring that our SME customers can transform their business in shortest time frame.
Summary and Role Information
SAP Business ByDesign team is looking for passionate developers who have a high and quick learning curve to help us shape this future course of the product. The high performance and fast paced environment is assured to provide rich opportunities for learning and growing.
You will be working in a cross-functional team following agile methodologies and industry best practices.
As a Developer in our development team you take responsibility for the following:
- Ramp up quickly on the technical aspects and understand the domain (SCM/SRM/CRM/FIN) based on the team he/she is assigned.
- Ready for development across technical domains of ABAP, JavaScript, node.js.
- Efficiently writing reliable code with good quality and extensibility, designing and implementing comprehensive unit tests, ensuring one-time deliveries without bugs.
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex customer problems, independently.
- Working in different stages of the software development life cycle, in AGILE mode, on tasks such as feature implementation and unit testing with strong sense of ownership.
- Intensive debugging skills and co-ordination across teams.
Experience/ Role Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar with 4 to 8 years of experience in software development.
- Good Knowledge in ABAP/ JAVA/ JavaScript/ node.js.
- Excellent Object Orientated Programming Skills with knowledge on RDBMS and SQL.
- Knowledge in SOA, Enterprise application domain knowledge in any of the functional domains of SRM/HCM/CRM will be a plus.
