Job Description
There is an urgent requirement for a Plant head in a manufacturing company located at Thiruvallur.

Experience: 10 yrs. (minimum 5 yrs from Packaging industry)

To oversee daily activities across functions such as Production, Maintenance, Quality control and materials (Purchase & Stores), HR and regulatory compliance. Head of Operations responsibilities include designing policies, overseeing customer service and implementing technology solutions. Should be a responsible leader with an analytical and strategic mind and have a broad knowledge of the business.
Job description:
- Control overall plant operation of Corrugation Box manufacturing unit- Planning and Execution-Meeting Customer Requirements- Man, Machine & Material Planning. Ensuring availability of machines including utilities etc.,
- Develop a well-organized and effective team where you will play the pivotal role as team leader to achieve the mission of the Organization.
- Ensure Manufacturing of Products with required quality /manufactured in accordance with Customer requirements.
- Ensure the implementation of required Quality control systems for confirming delivery of Quality products to the Customers on time.
- Oversee security and safety of all men, material & machine. Ensure in such a way to avoid interruption on production by means of any Fire or other accidents.
- Ensure the compliance of QMS, OSHAS & EMS in the entire premises.
- Keeping control over availability of RM, PM & WIP stock through continuous and systematic review mechanism.
- Ensure the required outputs through an effective performance management system through well-defined KPI for each and every process.
- Confirm customer satisfaction by serving them through committed delivery assurances and ensures retention of customer for long time.
- Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization for optimizing operational costs.
- Ensure team building through continuous motivation and counseling to achieve productivity and profitability.
- Ensure that the required documents and registers are effectively maintained.
- Ensure to control the rejection level well within the planned level.
