Summary

Location: Pune

Experience: 5+ years experience level is required.

JD for IBM Datastage Engineer:

Job Role :

A DevOp Engineer in the Domain Data Warehouse is responsible for the Development and Operation of Data Warehouse and Reporting Solutions. The role has an End-2-End responsibility in the software development life cycle, this includes the activities Solution Design, Development of a solution, Deployment and Test of the solution and finally operate the solution in a 24 by 7 production environment. The role acts in an agile development environment, continuously alignment with the business and understanding of the business needs are key success factors.

Skills Required :

• Knowledge in Data ETL (Extract / Transfer / Load) in IBM Infosphere DataStage
• Good programming skills in SQL , PL/SQL
• Basic programming skills in Unix / Linux scripting
• Experience in scheduling tool .TWS preferred
• Experience in Production support to monitor the job flows & can handle job abort analysis .

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IBM Datastage Jobs & sequences
• Follow business specifications & implement them in the Datastage job .
• Handle the unit testing of the jobs .
• Analysis of the data issues
