Job Description
A well-reputed industrial company in Doha, Qatar is looking for highly motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic individuals to work in Aluminum Alloy Plant in the following disciplines as below:
- Quality Control (Metallurgist)
BE/BTECH/DIP/BSC in Metallurgy or Chemistry with a minimum of 5 years
of experience in melting plant or foundry operation
Skill Required:
- The candidate should have sufficient knowledge of Foundry operation.
- Knowledge on general Safety & 5S that has to be followed in Melting Plant
- Knowledge and Experience in operating measuring instruments like spectrometer, microscope.
- Should have sufficient knowledge of Microstructure analysis and density analysis.
- should have sufficient knowledge of the liquid metal refining process.
- Skills to carry out the inspection such as chemical/ Microstructure/ Grain structure independently of sufficient knowledge of quality defects related to metal casting.
- Knowledge of melt dilution and addition process.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, etc.
- Knowledge of Process and Product validation
- Good Communication and Computer skills.
2. Melting Plant Supervisor
Diploma in Metallurgy, Mechanical, Electrical with a minimum of 5 years
of experience as a supervisor in furnace operation
Skill requirement:
Knowledge of general Safety & 5S that has to be followed in Melting Plant
Basic Knowledge on Melting & casting Process.
Knowledge of Production Planning.
Knowledge of Melt handling (Cleaning & Quality Check)
Knowledge of Traceability Concept & packaging
Problem-solving Skill
Leadership & Manhandling Skill
Knowledge of Continuous improvement
Good Communication and Computer skills.
