Job Description
We re looking for a Technical Specialist who ll be responsible for day to day planning and implementations required to drive System Releases. You ll be part of the R&D Public Team in Bangalore and its responsibilities are building IOT based Smart Lighting outdoor products. Hence Problem Solving, taking ownership, Accountability & Drive/passion for results must be in your DNA.
What you ll do
- Starting from formulating Test Strategies to Test Planning, Test Preparations, Documentation for the projects will be main area. Act as a technical leader who will be responsible to drive system test. Also be responsible and accountable enough and communicate expectations, plans, requirements, and co-ordinate all work within the scope of the assigned project/s.
- Verification and validation, requirement analysis and timeliness - Measured in areas of Initial validation, lead the scrum team and track deliverable to meet business commitments.
- Bring in the Automation expertise starting from Automation frameworks and writing testcases.
- Make sure the Testing cycles meet the timeline with quality and with precision.
- Manage estimates well with good communication channel built with the stake holders.
- Drive and Continuously improve the Agile process within teams.
- Conduct the Technical-reviews, Test and Automation design proposals and documentation required to define & control products. Ensure the documentation is up to date and can be referred to when necessary.
What you ll need
As a Technical specialist with R&D Public, you will be a go to person for Test Quality, Automation and complete accountability of the project assigned. Creativity exhibited in terms of various kinds of Tests, etc and all in all a quality ambassador. A smart, sharp Test Technical expert based on the following areas: -
- 6-10 years of experience as a Test Engineer. Would be good if the expertise has been in taking care of a test team.
- Strong in UI technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML 5
- Middleware Experience on Java 11, Spring Boot, GRPC (Inter-process communication)
- Database expertise on MySQL, Redis (cache), MyBatis (ORM)
- Strong experience of Test concepts, Manual Testing, Automation
- Strong Exposure to Monitoring tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker/Docker Swarm, Nginx, Apache
- Technical and Practical working experience with Cloud Service such as S3, IDM, EC2, Lambda, RDS
- Good exposure to Automation tools or any other test tools is an added advantage
