Job Description
Requirement for Transport Coordinator for a TMT industry in Kochi
Designation : Transport Coordinator
Age : 30-43
Experience :4-7 plus year experience
Qualification- Any
Salary :20000 - 25000
Work location :Kochi
Arrange trip for company vehicles (Trailer and Trucks).
Local experience in shipping / freight forwarding industry.
Should be experienced in operations / transportation in Freight forwarding.
Should be willing to travel within Kerala / other states to development and meet customers & vendors for trips.
Should have local logistics experience
Daily trip arrangements for company vehicles (trailers) as per sales orders and 3rd party trips.
Solve the unloading issues by communicating with respective Stockyard team and customers.
Recruitment of drivers as per company policys and SOP.
Handling Drivers issues, bata, trip sheets and track mileage.
Track and report issues related to drivers interactions with stockyard and customer point to reporting supervisor.
Report issues or damages of company vehicles after each trip and should report to maintenance team.
Ensure safe delivery of the materials, communicate with drivers and ensure proper delivery as per SOP.
Arrange return loads for company vehicles and share the details via whatsapp group.
Deliver the return load freight to office, email and return confirmation to strictly follow.
Custodian of Vehicle Profitability for the assigned company vehicles.
Follow up with maintenance team to make sure the vehicles are in running condition.
