RESPONSIBILITIES:
Excellent IT infrastructure Knowledge such as Operating Systems, Servers, Data Centre and Cloud
Manage / lead Hosting (Server commission, migration, consolidation, DR recovery and planning and deployment, Patching) projects globally.
Plans, directs, and co-ordinates the teams activities to manage and implement project and/or interrelated projects from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage.
Manage tasks assigned to architecture, solutions engineering, solution certification, deployment, managed service vendors, regional operations and implementation resources
Manage projects simple to complex in nature, interacting directly with Customer, Governance, Vendors and the DXC Teams & Leadership for projects that range in duration from 2 months to 1 years
Determines, monitors, and reviews all project economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk.
Leads the project team in determining client requirements and translating requirements into operational plans.
Working Knowledge of MSP schedule
Excellent Service Management Skills such as Change, Risk, Incident, Release Management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (peers, managers, engineers, account leaders and project managers including good, active listening skills.
Proactively create governance level reporting for the Customer Governance team (high-level milestones)
Maintains awareness on emerging technologies and Project Management techniques.
Track the progress of project through Metrics
Co-ordinate with Supply Chain/Vendors for delivery of hardware
Project Team identification and reserving as per resource calendar
Resolve all project/Stakeholder needs
Document Lessons learnt
Provide the Project Stakeholders with a with a single point of contact across multiple delivery streams across multiple regions within a unique project
Essential Reporting Skills, good knowledge in MS products (EXCEL, PowerPoint)
Provide active collaboration across Design, Procurement, and Implementation throughout the Project Phase.
Orchestrate the various delivery streams to meet client project timelines
Update any tools required by the client to reflect status updates and project tracking.
