Urgent Opening for the Design Engineer / Sr. Design Engineer Gurgaon (Sec-18)
Designation: - Design Engineer / Sr. Design Engineer
Location:- Gurgaon (sec-18)
Minimum Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical
Preferred/Additional Qualifications B. Tech in Electronics; Good knowledge in Electronics Minimum Experience Product design:2 years
Relevant/Additional Experience Production, expert in power electronics design
Industry preference Power Electronics
Computer Knowledge MS Office, Orcad, Internet
Languages English, Hindi, Local language
Competencies (Managerial and Behavioral, required for the job) Excellent client interaction Good team worker Problem Solving ability.
Salary: - As Per Company Standard
1. Product Testing Qualification
1.Perform pilot testing, involving functional and type test as per requirement
2.Conduct tests to check for environmental and electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic compatibility
3.Analyze products, check for faults and propose solutions for rectifying problems
4.Coordinate with external laboratories for test slot availability to get the product qualified
5.Qualification of the products as per customer specifications in the external laboratories
6.Coordinate with external agencies such as CEMILAC and DGAQA for certifications
7.Obtain relevant regulatory approvals to ensure adherence to client specifications and quality standards
8.Regular follow up on material availability with the Purchase Team for testing purposes
2. R&D Support Internal Liaison
2.Define line and load regulation requirements and other technical details required for production based on customer specifications
3.Resolve any technical queries of the production team
4.Develop prototypes for the products
5.Assist Production Team in product assembling based on customer specifications
1.Provide after sales service to customers for the products during the warranty period Engage in installation and commissioning of finished products
2.Follow up with customers after the products have been delivered and provide support on technical aspects
3.Respond to customer complaints and provide onsite service, if required
4.Identify reasons for major technical faults, propose solutions and maintain records of complaints.
1.Draft and submit weekly report to the Reporting Manager
2.Prepare bill of material, schematic design, PCB design, test report, functional test procedure, environmental test report, failure analysis report, etc.
4.Identify and report customer feedback on product improvement
