Job Description
Production In-chargeResponsible for overall performance of the manufacturing processes as per
process sequence plan and stage wise WI.
Responsible for optimum utilization of machine, cost control, WIP
management, and RM reconciliation.
Responsible to run production through production planning and scheduling
system.
Responsible to ensure raw material is procured as per demand schedule.
Responsible for establishing standard operating procedures for manufacturing
processes.
To monitor overall effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions, to
prevent occurrence of NC for process related and quality problems.
To monitor the departmental objectives / Measure of performance and
achieving the same.
To provide input data for Management review and is a member of
Management review meeting.
To maintain inventory of products at all processes including FG stock and
ware house.
To provide inputs for preparing Business Plan.
To lead various continual improvement projects in the department.
To identify training needs of subordinates and provide input to HR Dept.
To ensure good housekeeping.
To ensure safety aspects in manufacturing.
RM availability to be reviewed at the beginning of every month after receiving
demand schedule.
To implement SPC for all critical process and product characteristics.
To notify NC to Engineering / Quality for taking disposition action.
To take corrective and preventive actions, to prevent recurrence of NC.
To monitor the departmental objectives / Measure of performance and
achieving the same.
To provide input data for Management review and is a member of
Management review meeting.
To maintain all records related to department.
To identify training needs of subordinates and provide input to HR Dept.

Responsible for daily production scheduling as per the shipment plan.

implementing corrective action for not meeting the customer schedules.

Responsible for capacity analysis and planning of resources requirements.
Responsible to provide corrective and preventive actions for low customer
scores on delivery ratings
