Job Description
IFRS International Financial Reporting Standards.Reports to : VP- Operations, International Business, Mumbai
Level : Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager ( depending on Exposure)
Individual role- The team supports the overseas branches; hence timings have to be adjusted as per requirement at times.
CA- with min 1 year exp or MBA with 3yrs of Min Exp of IFRS Accounting ,NAV Computation from BFSI Industry
IFRS Accounting
A brief JD:
1.Responsible for accounting, NAV computation, handling the audit and periodic reportings for various FPIs managed by International subsidiaries of the Bank based out of Singapore/Mauritius/US as per applicable International Financial Reporting Standards.
2.Responsible for preparation of quarterly management accounts as per statutory requirements in Mauritius.
3.Responsible for preparation of various MIS reports, budget, and expense analysis and forecasting which would form part of the overall reporting to senior management on a periodic basis.
4.Assisting the team in preparation of various regulatory returns, reports, trial balances for the purpose of accounting and audit.
5.Ensure full adherence to taxation rules in India and the funds domicile including accruals, filing tax returns and related reconciliations.
6.Co-ordination with administrators of various funds to ensure timely completion of activities related to fund administration.
7.Exposure to overall accounting, NAV computation, regulatory reportings, knowledge of FPI/FDI functioning and associated regulatory requirements.
8.Advantages of working in a small team and hence increased visibility of efforts.
looking for a CA with upto min 1 years experience or MBA with 3 to 4 years of experience
1.Candidate should be well versed with financial terms and jargons including equity markets, etc.
2.Excellent communication skills (written and oral) as the role would involve co-ordination with various stakeholders in and outside India.
3.Excellent skills of working in MS Office especially Excel spread sheets, word documents, etc.
1.Well versed with number crunching including reconciliations which may be time consuming and which would require patience.
2.Eye for details and inclined towards performing roles proactively
3.Ability to perform under immense pressure especially during start of the month/quarter
