Job Description
We have been retained by one of the top 10 Pharma companies to hire a General Manager Sales for Chronic therapy. The details of the position are as under:
- The candidate should be currently heading the sales team of a large pharma company on National level.
- He should have excellent rapport with key opinion leaders across India with Consulting Physicians / Cardiologists / Diabetologists / Endocrinologists.
- He should have in depth perspective of Chronic therapy of various segments in the Chronic therapy market.
- He should possess strong scientific product knowledge.
- He should have built strong brands in Chronic therapy area.
- He should be able to spearhead science based campaigns like detection camps, post marketing surveillance studies, clinical trials/ studies.
- He should be able to guide the team of senior managers and independently handle Medical CMEs , Debates , Round table meets , Seminars at regional / zonal / national level.
- He should have demonstrated capability of leading a team of State and Zonal heads (3rd line / 4th line managers).
- This position is in a division with field force size of 700 MRs, 140 1st line managers, 50 2nd line managers and 30 State heads/ zonal managers. Current business size of 350 Crs. In Chronic care therapy.
- He should possess excellent interpersonal skills and should have a reasonable exposure to field staff union related issues.
- He should have excellent communication skills.
- He should have headed the sales team at National level at least for about 3 to 5 yrs.
- He should have total experience ranging from 20-25 yrs.
- He should be currently handling the sales volume of 250 to 300 Cr.in Chronic Care brands.
- The candidate should be a science graduate preferably with post graduate management qualification.
Age Criteria :- between 45-50 yrs
