SAS VA Developer @ Hi Tides Consulting

Primary Responsibilities:

Works and collaborates with others on consulting
projects and special projects as assigned.
Provides reliable delivery of targeted project results
through role as expert in the application of specific
SAS methodologies, projects and technologies.
Provides deep knowledge and experience with SAS
Solutions including solution configuration, solution
functionality and troubleshooting.
Expert in SAS tool like BASE SAS, SAS DI, data
management concept , SAS VA, SAS Viya. SQL,
Experience in RDBMS like Oracle , Sql Server, OS
Unix,Unix shell scripts Windows
Ability to map customer requirements and solution
design to SAS solutions using different tools,
techniques and interfaces.
Understands, utilizes and communicates best practice
methodologies and industry standards internally and
externally.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Expert in SAS tool like BASE SAS, SAS DI, data
management concept, SAS VA, SAS Viya. SQL,
Experience in RDBMS like Oracle , Sql Server, OS
Unix,Unix shell scripts Windows
Ability to communicate with and instruct people with
various technical backgrounds, think analytically, write
and edit technical material, and relate data
management concepts and applications to customer IT
and users.
Travels as business requirements dictate at
management discretion

Job Accountability and Objectives:
Good understanding of data, data base structures.
Thorough knowledge in data querying languages.
Good in data querying in various systems, its
manipulations and arrangement of data creation of
data marts/data Models.
Experience in data exploratory kind of assignments.
Develop MIS documentation to allow for smooth
operations and easy system maintenance
Ability to communicate with and instruct people with
