Job Description
Experience
The candidate must have at least 6-10 years of working experience in Infra Automation / DevOps capacity.
Responsibilities
- Develop infrastructure as code automation using Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation and ARM templates
- Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, Google, web services / APIs
- Coding/scripting experience in Python, Perl and PowerShell
- Strong experience in automation & orchestration based on native cloud services
- AWS Services such as Lambda, Cloud Formation, Step Functions, CLI, Batch Services etc
- Azure Services such as ARM templates, Azure CLI, Functions, Logic Apps, etc
- Google Services such as Deployment Manager, CloudSDK, etc
- Will need strong technical skills on either Linux or Windows operating systems
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and automated testing with Jenkins
- Excellent oral and written communication skills will be essential
- Good to have experience in UI development, cloud native security and DB SQL commands
- Develop Ansible playbooks and modules
- Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration and provide SME level support.
- Develop, configure and administer DevOps and IT automation solutions.
- Understand and remediate complex issues and topologies of large enterprises
- Provide technical support to IT ops around automation solution usage
- Develop and maintain the documentation in a wiki
- Collaborate across teams to deliver automation content in a timely manner
- Automate software provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment
Skills
- Strong experience with Ansible, Terraform
- Experience in Docker containers, OpenShift
- Experience in Ruby, Python, PL/SQL, PowerShell, and Bash
- Experience with Kickstart, Firewalls, Hypervisors and Routers
- Expert level RHEL 6, RHEL 7, Windows 2012 and Windows 2016 System Administration
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, Oracle, Apache, Tomcat and Nginx
- Expert level understanding and implementation of RESTful, SOAP and SDK APIs
- Good understanding of Jenkins, Git, Chef
- Comfortable with frequent, incremental code, testing and deployment.
- Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment.
- Experience in Storage and Networking would be nice to have.
- Experience in working with Agile, and DevOps teams
- Experience in working with Middleware, and Application teams
- Experience in UI development with React, CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript would be a plus
- Experience in Scripting - Json, PowerShell, Hybrid Worker, Jenkins, Chef, Opsworks, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform
- AWS DevOps: Cloud Develoment Kit(CDK), Cloud9, CodeArtifact, CodePipeline, Codestar, Device Farm, Tools and SDKs
Preferred:
- Experienced in Agile working methodologies like Scrum or Kanban and SDLC.
- Source Control (like Git, Bitbucket, Svn, VSTS etc)
- Continuous Integration (like Jenkins, Bamboo, VSTS )
- Infrastructure Automation (like Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
- Deployment Automation & Orchestration (like Jenkins, VSTS, Octopus Deploy)
- Container Concepts (LXD, Docker)
- Orchestration (Kubernetes, Mesos, Swarm)
- Cloud (like AWS, Azure, GoogleCloud, Openstack)
- GCP: Cloud SDK, Container Registry, Firebase Crashlytics
