Job Description

Be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the data architecture, data models and standards for various Data Integration & Data Warehousing projects in Snowflake, combined with other technologies.
Model new features and subject areas and integrate them with existing structures to provide a consistent solution as well as develop and maintain documentation of the data architecture, data flows and data models.
Take ownership of technical solutions from design and architecture perspective, ensure the right direction and propose resolution to potential data pipeline-related problems.
Previous experience with AWS and/or Azure PaaS technologies
Previous expertise with SnowSQL, advanced concepts (query performance tuning, time travel etc.) and features/tools (data sharing, events, SnowPipe etc.)
Previous experience with end to end implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouse or end to end data warehouse implementations on-premise
Snowflake SnowPro cerfitication
Understand the application workflow.
Model the queries required by the application.
Design the tables.
Determine Relationship Keys.
Use the right data types effectively.
Experience working in Agile Projects
Must possess excellent communication skills
Must coordinate with PO for design, acceptance criteria, data mapping sign off
Should participate in daily meetings
Candidate must have experience in requirement gathering & understanding
Should have the ability to estimate, plan
5+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform tec m technologies, and ETL and data ingestion protocols).
Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts required.
Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio or others) required.
