Job Description
Reputed American multinational company in Mumbai, having turnover of approx. 500 Crore is looking for a result oriented professional Chartered Accountant. The candidate must possess an overall work experience of 10 years out of which at least 5 years should be in a Managerial position. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounts and finance department along with custom clearances and managing the Imports of the company. The Job role and set of key skills is mentioned herein below.
Job Role:-
1)Handling the entire accounts and finance department with a sizeable team which includes 4 Chartered Accountants.
2)Reviewing the monthly profitability of the company and discussing major key points with the management which needs attention.
3)Planning and Budgeting.
4)Direct and Indirect Tax compliances including litigation.
5)Managing the Imports Division of the company including liaising with Customs Department as and when needed.
Required Skills:-
1)Experience in leading finance function for more than 5 years and overall experience of 10 years in managing accounts and finance with Imports.
2)Chartered Accountant is must and additional qualifications like Company Secretary, Diploma in Imports etc. will be an added advantage.
3)Candidate should be from FMCG industry and having experience of handling imports is must.
4)Must have managed a team of atleast 10 people in past.
