Responsibilities
Lead a virtual team with varied skillsets and across time zones in the administration and ongoing implementation of a data-driven monitoring surveillance program covering Sales Practice Risk, Conduct Risk, Compliance Risk, and Operational Risk within the Consumer Bank. Ensure that your team is effectively prepared to participate in a variety activities to support that program, including data management, data sourcing, metric and report building and other activities required for successful risk monitoring execution.
Guide and coach your team as they leverage a variety of analytic and business intelligence techniques to identify risk patterns and trends and provide insights into the Risk and Control environments. Implement peer review processes, and establish review routines with validation partners, to ensure comprehensiveness and accuracy.
Understand and reinforce change management and governance best practices and ensure adherence across your team.
Understand the strategic direction for the team you support working closely with the Analytic Manager who is accountable for the broader team s results. Translate this strategic direction into projects and tasks for your consultants, ensure this is well-understood by your team, and check in often with your accountable leader.
Leverage your business knowledge and analytic expertise as you guide your team. Be an active mentor for both technical and relationship building skills
