REQUIRED POSITION
Supply Chain Manager / Logistics Controller / Warehouse Manager / Inventory Controller

Job Location : Canada Australia New Zealand Denmark Gulf Country
Salary Structure : (50,000 US $ - 60,000 US $) Yearly

Supply Chain Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee creation of processes and methods to gather supply chain data
Process data, identifying problematic areas and suggesting improvements
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
Design and implement necessary supply chain optimization projects
Develop requirements and standards (e.g. procurement, shipping, etc.)
Analyze, optimize, and oversee inventory procedures
Commitment to uncovering the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules
Assess vendor operations (e.g. freight) according to quality benchmarks and standards
Foster strong partnerships with other businesses
Work with IT professionals to implement efficient systems
Track KPIs and generate reports for supply chain performance
Logistics Controller Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor operational costs (Maintenance/Fuel/Hire) and present data on a weekly and
monthly basis
Monitoring and managing vehicle GPS tracking system and generate detailed KPI reports
Enforcing Working Time Directive regulations amongst all staff particularly drivers,
addressing all non-conformance
Managing all elements of tachograph compliance (including collections and dealing with
infringements)
Overseeing the management of absences and holidays for all drivers
Planning and managing depot payroll, including the projection of weekly manning levels,
booking external haulage, authorising overtime
Ensuring that all personnel files are up to date incorporating licence validation, personal
details, completed training etc.
Monitor vehicle maintenance records and oversee vehicle maintenance costs
Warehouse Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Inventory Controller Duties and Responsibilities
Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages
Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
Analyze data to anticipate future needs
Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
