Devops Engineer with Cloud //6 year @ Varite

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.C.A / M.Tech in Computer science background or equivalent.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and experience:
4 to 6 years of IT experience with any one of the Cloud Platforms(AWS, Azure or GCP or Oracle Cloud)
Good knowledge on scripting Python/Linux Shell scripting/Perl/PowerShell Good knowledge on Containers/Pods/Dockers/Kubernetes
Good Database administration skills. Must have sound knowledge on how to migrate data from one environment to another. Must be able to perform database backup/restore.
Very good Linux Administration skills.
Very good communication skills. Need to extensively work with multiple teams to perform day to day tasks.
Good knowledge on Webservers and application servers preferably WebLogic server and OHS or Apache.
Configure, secure and manage servers and network communications.
Troubleshoot problems on various layers of the application and infrastructure. Provide internal analysis and support.
Create and maintain validated documentation set for operations of various service components.
Working experience in Hosted environments following a Ticket Process.
Ready to Work on all 3 shifts and ready to accept On-call 24/7 responsibility on Weekends, Holidays on rotation basis.
Willingness to proactively engage in continuous process improvement.
Be a self-starter with the capability to work autonomously Pro-actively contribute and support the team and Oracle.
Strong troubleshooting skills to handle in customer calls.
Excellent Communication skills
