Job Description

Notice period: Immediate joiners preferred (max 15 days)

Job Location: Chennai

Roles and Responsibilities

• Good hands-on experience in android application development using native android- java / Kotlin, MVVM framework Strong fundamentals in Core Java, OOPS, SOLID principles, and various Android Components and APIs.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with team to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience writing unit tests using JUNIT
• Strong focus on high-quality mobile UI experiences
• Hands-On experience with GIT
• Have good communication skills.
• Document the code and functionality.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3+ years of Android development experience and familiarity with mobile architecture
• Knowledge of Android Java and Kotlin programming is a must
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Expert knowledge of Java and JDK
• Knowledge of Advanced Android UI/UX standards
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Experience in Social integration using SDKs like Facebook, Google+, Twitter, etc.,
• Experience working in Video streaming, VideoCall
• Experience with performance and memory tuning
• Experience with version control and code management tool.
• Experience in leading a team of developers and delegating tasks
• Experience with a ticketing system
• DevOps understanding is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Experience with local database - MYSQ-Lite
• Grasp of Java, Data Structures and Algorithms, OOPS.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
