Job Description
The company is building a high performance permissionless blockchain. There are a ton of really hard engineering problems: everything from optimizing low latency epidemic protocols, to secure sandboxing of untrusted code, to GPU acceleration for cryptographic operations. We have been open source and distributed from day one.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Develop, maintain, and support technical infrastructure, hardware and system software components;
- Create architecture, designs, and documentation that will lead to consistent reliability, scalability, security, and performance of the company'snetwork;
- Refine and enhance processes that allow for proper testing and validation of releases that go from development to staging to production environments;
- Interact effectively with other team members to accomplish shared projects.
You are:
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent in experience
- Seasoned experience in building, maintaining, and supporting infrastructure and system components. You would be expected to create architecture and documentation for consistent reliability, scalability and performance. That's the foundation.
- Solid scripting skills, as you should know your way around Linux / Unix
- Ability to work well with others, with experience sharing tasks with team members.
- Four+ years of experience implementing, troubleshooting and supporting distributed systems.
