Job Description
Multimedia Video Software Architect
Exp: 10-15 yrs
Location: Bangalore
- Hands on Experience in Video and Image decoders like MPEG2, VC1, VP8/9, H264, H265, JPEG, P-JPEG
- Experience in Video encoders like H264, H265 and Postprocessing like Image rotation, crop, resize, framerate conversion
- Experience in Audio decoders like wav, flac and ogg desirable
- Experience in playback handling from low latency Network ( live streaming ) and file storage
- Strong programming skills, Hands On, C/C++ in Linux environment, C++ standard library, Python
- Design Patterns, Multi threaded programming, Object oriented Programming
- At least 5-6 years of experience as multimedia software Architect with past development profile
- Machine Learning / Deep Learning / Image Classification / Object Detection / Recommendation Systems / NLP, TensorFlow/PyTorch/MxNet/ Training/Inference would be a plus
- Power and Performance Analysis
- Python Test Framework (PyTest) / Google Test Framework (GTEST)
- Video Pipeline, Multimedia Framework, Open CV, Open VX
- The candidate should be able to design end to end multiple occurrence video playback systems, should have experience in Video decoding, Encoding, Transcoding and Postprocessing.
- The candidates should be able to prepare POC, architect it and write efficient code to take it to the production level from concept. Should be able to design testcases for different scenarios

Education: B.Tech/M.Tech ECE or CS from reputed institute
Experience: 10 15 years of relevant experience
Behavioral traits: Problem-solving Skills - Ability to Multitask - Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills - Ability to Work in a Dynamic Team-Oriented environment
Proficiency in Video Audio Decoders, Encoder, PostProcessings, C, C++, Algorithms, Standard Template Library (STL) and Python, PyTest/GTest, TensorFlow/PyTorch/MxNet.
Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms, Deep Learning algorithms, Agile development process, Continuous Integration etc. Experience of working on Complex SOC's SW Stack, Ability to understand Hardware Features from data sheets.
