AWS Dev Ops Engineer
We are looking for an adaptable, collaborative, and versatile self-starter to join our quickly growing team.
The ideal candidate should be eager to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment servicing multiple end clients and must be comfortable with the independence and accountability required when working for a remote company. Role
As a Platform Engineer, you will help our existing clients create, implement, and maintain a variety of PaaS solutions. You will leverage your expertise to help maintain and improve these applications, ensuring high rates of availability, preventing downtime, and offering optimizations.
Responsibilities
Architect solutions to be deployed into AWS
Build and maintain CI/CD solutions for both application and infrastructure delivery
Utilize Terraform to ensure the state is consistent
Define and establish security guidelines
Ensure systems are operational
Work with developers to improve their experience publishing changes
Ensure alerting and support requirements are met
Work with project managers to ensure business and development needs are met
Job Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
At least 3 or more years working on Linux operating systems.
At least 3 or more years working on Windows operating systems.
Proven experience with Amazon AWS Admin Panel
Proven experience utilizing Terraform to produce infrastructure
Experience with orchestration platforms including EKS, ECS
Experience with Helm
Ability to script in Python and Bash
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Ansible, CloudFormation, SaltStack, or other DevOps toolsets
AWS Certification
Experience working with Jenkins, Team city Builder, CircleCi, Travis, or other build tool-sets
Experience with large scale clustering and multi-node deployments
