We are looking for Manager -Sales and Application Engineering, handling Robotics Automation Vertical for a well reputed Robotics Automation Integration Organisation based at Gurgaon.
Skills Required:
- Robotics and automation exposure
- Understand design concepts, basics of GD&T
- Good ability to develop and hand-sketch concepts and communicate clearly to customers - Robotic Process exposure in Spot Welding, Arc welding and machine tending is a must. - Any other process knowledge is an added advantage
- Basic control system knowledge (PLC, communication protocols, I/Os, etc.) is a must
- Should have a fair knowledge on automation cell safety
- Robot operation/programming is an added advantage
- Robot Simulation capability
- Must meticulously update the Inquiry List, Proposals List, Data Collection Formats
- Technical communication
- Actual hands-on experience with any reputed make of industrial robots (ABB, Fanuc, Motoman, Kuka, Nachi, Kawasaki, IGM, Cloos, Staubli, Adept, etc ) on Spot welding, arc welding and material handling is a must.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Primary Task is to obtain orders for the company employing ethical means for RS and AS line of business. The orders should align with the core competence of the company and sustainable.
- To interpret customers enquiry documents, prepare conceptual designs and draft technical responses using AutoCAD, Word, PowerPoint & Excel, to tight, customer specified, deadlines
- To estimate Takt & Cycle Times, Concept Layouts, Tentative BOM, define scope of supply and float RFQs to Mechanical and Electrical teams
- To use simulation software for quick feasibility study
- To carry out practical trials based on customer requirements
- To undertake ongoing technical and commercial clarifications, requested by the customer, throughout the life of the proposal, and support the Sales team through to successful order placement
- Must be able to understand and use data from technical papers, catalogue, product brochure, etc.
- Must be able to read, understand and note customer standards
- To process orders and prepare accurate project handover files for the Design,Simulation team and other departments
- To attend scope clarification meetings in person/video conference/ teleconference, gather information at site, and identify customers needs for projects
- To formulate cost build-ups
- To review technical content of Purchase Orders
OTHERS
Frequent short trips to customer site to study/understand requirements
Must be able to deliver proposals or respond to customer needs at short notice and be able to work within tight deadlines
