Job Description
- Responsible for Banquet Sales and Operations
- Continually meet and exceed banquet revenue goals;
- Establish new accounts and increase banquet sales significantly by selling and organizing both in the hotel and outside locations
- Responsible for Banquet Operations and Sales revenues.
- Establish new accounts and increase banquet sales significantly.
- Prepare and send out proposals and contracts and assist with menu selection with great attention to detail.
- Negotiate pricing including sales minimums and menu pricing.
- Prospect new business.
- Continually meet and exceed banquet revenue goals
- Execute banquet contracts, secured deposits, and structured pricing for events.
- Construct menus, develop floor plans, and arrange guest site inspections.
- Upselling menu items to maximize revenues while providing increased value and an exceptional experience to guests
- Manage internal production timelines and coordinated vendor participation for events.
- Plan, design, and implement special events for clients that included weddings, parties, corporate events and trade shows
- Build successful relationships with outside vendors.
- Excellent communication skills and team management is a must
