Club promoters advertise parties, events, and their venues to potential partygoers. This is an entry-level position that requires high energy, a love for working with people, and exceptional organization. Club promoters typically work on a freelance basis, meaning they dont work in a traditional office setting. Instead, club promoters are usually out in the field promoting an event or in actual venues negotiating with venue owners. However, some clubs and venues do hire full-time promoters. Since they are usually freelance employees, club promoters are responsible for setting their own hours and working as needed, although they do tend to work late at night. As freelancers, club promoters are usually required to report directly to their clients regarding progress and budget.
