Job Description:
An AWS Cloud Admin skill who can support a critical client having more than 1000+ servers. The individual should be highly flexible, willing to support 24x7 on a rotational shift basis.
Technical Skills:
- Establish and maintain AWS environments for teams or projects, ensuring that they adhere 100% to the Bio-Rad Cloud Center of Excellence.
- Develop tools, operational enhancements and automated solutions in support of business critical customer facing SaaS applications and environments.
- Use infrastructure automation solutions, such as Terraform, to create infrastructure as code in our cloud vendor environments.
- Drive operational readiness assessments for new features and services by collaborating with product engineering teams as an embedded CloudOps resource.
- Implement service monitoring and improve service performance and stability to ensure a robust self-healing service.
- Assist our software engineering team to ensure that proper monitoring and metrics are built into the applications before going to production.
- Work with management to prioritize an operational road map and recommend investments to our existing and future platforms.
- Work with product teams as a Cloud expert to reduce duplication of efforts across projects and encourage collaboration between teams.
- Engage in service demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning.
- Operate as primary point of contact for production incidents, perform root cause analysis, identify and resolve underlying problem patterns, while developing automated and self-healing solutions Investigate failures and implement remedies for continued improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on deployments, processes and standard operating procedures/run-book Cloud Operations.
Process Skills:
- Ability to multi task in Outage calls, implement changes
- Should be able to manage time and assignments.
- Will be interacting with the rest of the Information Systems team, receiving instructions and sharing information, but will also be in contact with other client groups coordinating changes and understanding requirements.
- Must be able to communicate with multiple levels of users in the organization with varying levels of technical capabilities.
- ITIL Process on Incident and Change Management

- Strong Oral and Written communication
Qualification:
- Somebody with AWS Cloud Admin experience with B.E./B.Tech or Diploma.
- The AWS Cloud Associate Certification is a must.
