Job Description Required skills:
Responsible for technical delivery along with designing data warehouse solutions on AWS Cloud using AWS Tools (CLI, Glue etc.) and Big Data Tools (Pyspark, Presto, Airflow etc.) to build Credit Risk reporting capabilities (currently in OBIEE, Oracle, Informatica, SAS etc).
Must have strong understanding of data architecture, data integration and data management processes
Must have experience with Big Data Tools; Pyspark, Presto (Athena), Airflow etc.
Must have experience with Python design and development skills for data pipeline Cloud & SQL -Knowledge of SAS base code is beneficial.
Expertise in data and analytics concepts. Big Data, Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Sqoop, oozie (Pyspark, Athena, Presto, Airflow, CLI, Glue) Scala, Cloud concepts and AWS based services like EMR, S3, Athena, SageMaker (AWS/GCP).
Exposure to Unix, Shell scripting and DevOps tools (Ansible, Consul, Puppet etc) added advantage.
Must have strong understanding of data architecture, data integration and data management processes, ability to develop transformation logic in Spark-SQL based on dataframes.
Strong knowledge of micro-service architecture design and development experience in Python programming in both Object oriented and functional programming.
Familiarity with DevOps Tools will be an added advantage
AWS Certification/s would be a plus
Determination and resilience to navigate through uncertainty or limited information and overcome challenges.
Ability to learn and adapt continuously in a fast-moving environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication with strong analytical skills.
