Job Description:
The job role for Data power Build is primarily responsible for translating business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions.
The job role is also responsible for developing, configuring, or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments.
This individual facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.
The job role supports systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) and participates and coaches others in all software development lifecycle phases.

SSE will be responsible for mentoring and delivery of other SEs in the team.
Candidate should be willing to work independently in shifts.
Proficient in Data power development life cycle comprising of analysis, design, build, reviews, unit testing, CIT, SIT and performance testing support along with strong operational experience.
Responding to all stakeholders with required application details as requested
Reporting & Metrics on response & resolution SLA of Incidents
Issue and Risk Log monitoring.
Code Reviews and fixes.
Appropriate Unit testing test plan and results documentation.
Code Coverage.

Required Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and detailed experience in software development field. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Candidate must have experience in Designing, Developing and supporting services developed on Data power XI 52 appliance, good working knowledge on xsl transformation and monitoring using splunk logs.
Experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
Experience working in a large matrix organization
Experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
Experience working with application and integration middleware
Experience working with defect or incident tracking software (e.g., HP Quality Center, Remedy)
Experience working with source code control systems
Establish and enforce technical standards for deliverables of projects
Strong communication skills
Retail Industry Experience a Plus
Knowledge in Linux
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Software Engineer
3+ years of experience in Designing, Developing and supporting services developed on Data power XI 52 appliance, good working knowledge on xsl transformation and splunk logging/monitoring.
