We're looking for a motivated, analytically-minded candidate who can take ownership and who wants to be part of one of the worlds leading consumer products company. The person would be reporting directly to the Cash Application Manager and will be primarily responsible for Supervising a team of individuals in the accounting center and working closely with an offshore team to ensure the accurate and timely postings of Cash Receipts from multiple bank accounts in the designated application.

1. PURPOSE OF ROLE
The position reports directly to the Cash Application Manager and is primarily responsible for Supervising a team of individuals in the accounting centre and working closely with an offshore team to ensure the accurate and timely postings of Cash Receipts from multiple bank accounts in the designated application.
2. KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Supervise the cash application specialists and ensure cash is posted accurately and timely in accordance with company policies.
Involved in hiring, training, development, performance and attendance management of cash application team members
Monitor, evaluate and implement improvements to the cash application process for execution as to meet or exceed department goals
Manage all A/R cash files to support customer payments, deductions, and adjustments
Manage A/R Adjustments and research of unapplied credits to determine disposition and resolution of unresolved items
Manage daily and weekly reporting of cash applications processes and unapplied cash
Provide mentoring and leadership to attract, develop and retain talent.
Coach and build team, support professional development, review and assess performance and enable employees to maximize their performance.
Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions
Manage Special Projects as assigned

- Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders & address their concerns during daily, weekly, monthly reporting cycle

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
