Robotics Software Specialist - Mumbai - Search @ Search Advisers

Job Description

We are seeking C++ Engineers to work in our core robotics team developing autonomous mobile robot that sits at the
intersection of robotics and deep learning systems for different applications. We are looking for a candidate who is flexible,
self-motivated, curious and passionate about revolutionizing the world of robotics and vision.

Responsibilities:
As a key member of the software development team, you will have the opportunity to:
Participate in all phases of software development including concept, design, prototyping, and production.
Integrate actuators and sensors, including writing drivers, debugging hardware issues, validating system performance,
and developing hardware diagnostic tests.
Integrate and test software solutions in a simulation environment and on the robots.
Take part in the development of a simulation environment for our robotic system.
Collaborate with a team of top AI and mechanical engineers to deliver scalable solutions that have a real impact.

Requirements:
B-tech/M-tech in Computer Science / ECE or equivalent
2+ years of practical software engineering experience with (C++/Python) in Linux.
Comfortable with Linux based Operating System (CLI, Configuration)
Fundamentals in Algorithm Design, Problem Solving and Object Oriented Programming
Experience working multiple networked computers and multi-threaded systems in real time.
Experience using revision control software such as Git.
Excellent communication and teaming skills
A self-starter who is comfortable with wearing multiple hats when needed
Comfortable with Agile software development processes and fast prototype iterations
A love for solving difficult challenges.

Preferred:
Experience with ROS/STL/Boost
Familiarity with hardware-software integration of sensors (Lidar, Vision etc), motor controllers and real time systems
Experience with cloud infrastructure and database
