Job Description
Hi All,
Microland is hiring for Network and Security for Gurgaon location. Please ensure the words in bold are the must have skill sets.
Qualification and prior experience
- 6 years hands-on experience in a telecommunications environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- CCNA/ CCNP Security Certification is preferred
- Prior experience in a 24x7x365 operations environment
- Should have knowledge of trouble ticketing tools.
- Good Conceptual understanding of network security technologies.
- Should have good understanding of ITIL processes
- Good communication skills
Primary responsibilities
- Must Know: Cisco ASA (Firewall VPN and IDS).
- In-depth knowledge on Security Technologies: Firewall, VPN, Proxy and IPS.
- Proven Ability to Manage Multi-Vendor Environment.
- Strong hands-on experience on Cisco Security products like: Cisco ASA FirePower, Cisco Ironport Proxy solution and Cisco Any Connect VPN.
- Understanding of Switching and routing technologies.
- Hands-on experience on Multi-vendor hardware like Checkpoint firewalls, BIG IP F5 load balancers & Proxy hardware
- Hands-on experience: DMVPN, SSL VPN/IPSec VPN, Firewall skills, IPS/IDS, Internet proxy, Load Balancers.
- Ability to manage High Severity Incidents and isolate issues in an efficient and effective manner.
- Ability to interact and co-ordinate with various IT groups within the customer organization
- Ability to engage Vendor / Principal in case of escalated support
- Proven experience of Security design & implementation experience;
- Demonstrate excellence in communications, presentation and customer focus skills.
- Proven commitment to quality results.
- Operational
- Solely responsible for all Security issues in the organization
- Execute Health Checks, Monitoring and Management of Security devices
- Maintain Compliance levels of IPS and IDS Signatures
- Plan and Execute Change request as per plan
- Perform Post Analysis on failed Changes
- Provision VPN services as per customer request
- Restore services in case of security service failures
- Reporting : Perform Daily / Weekly and Monthly reports
- Participate in New Project Implementations: Review Design and help in implementation.
- Create design standards and specify network solutions to meet the Customer businesses' requirements.
- Provide On call Support as and when required.
