Job Description

Profile: IT Auditor (On Contract)
Roles and Responsibilities
Operational audits:
- Perform operational audit assignments including; planning, communication with auditees, developing audit programs, executing work assignments, preparing the audit report and explaining it to Local Management.
- Gain detailed understanding of organizations processes, systems and controls
- To undertake pre- field work with required background research
- Identify data analytics opportunities and leverage for audit work
- Support EMIA team in conducting data analytics and provide deep insights
- Track open audit findings and liaise with stakeholders
- Conduct follow up audits across EMIA to ensure that prior recommendations have been adequately implemented and maintain related documentation
- Support in publishing periodic updates on open audit findings for EMIA
J-SOX audits:
- Perform quality checks on EMIA J-SOX self-assessment submission such as Process flow charts, Risk Control Matrix and testing evidences
- Perform J-SOX audit assignments including; planning, communication with auditees, executing work assignments, preparing the audit report and presenting it to Local Management.
- Conduct follow up audits to ensure that prior recommendations have been adequately implemented
Ad hoc & other assignments:
Perform assigned ad hoc tasks, such as providing advice to the business, special reviews and supporting the business on a specific issue
Candidate Profile
- Candidate should possess a minimum of 3 to 4 years risk based audit experience in a dynamic, fast-paced MNC or Big Four Accounting Firm
- Ability to work remotely and independently within a large geographically dispersed multinational environment
- Organize, analyse and manage large quantum of data and effectively multi task
- Ability to research and apply technical subjects as required to support audits
- Possess strong accounting and internal controls knowledge. Proficient in Internal Audit Key Concepts. Experience of US-SOX or J-SOX would be an advantage
- IT Control (General/ Application) related knowledge and audit experience would be a plus
- A Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, ideally combined with a professional qualification, such as CA or CIA
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English is essential; both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office, expert knowledge in excel.
- Exposure to analytical and visualization tools would be a plus
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability working in cross functional teams or in matrixed organization
- Possess good planning skills and a strong capability to execute and achieve results according to deadlines
- Willingness to travel up to 5% to 10 %, primarily in the EMIA region
