Job Description

We are looking for Factory Medical Officer for  - Dahanu , Palghar ( Maharashtra )

Job role :

1. Day to Day Management of the Occupational Health Centre (OHC) along with the Paramedics
2. Identification of occupational health hazards at the plant across various shop floors
3. Identification of notifiable diseases (if any) as per the schedule II of the Factories Act
4. Address medical problems of the workers as well as any industrial health related problems
5. Conduct pre-employment health evaluations
6. Maintain medical health records at the OHC 
7. Conduct health & wellness awareness programs & workshops on various topics lifestyle diseases, prevention of occupational health hazards, and importance of using PPEs etc.
8. Ergonomics and basic health management sessions, counselling, trainings
9. First Aid & Emergency Care/Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
10. Provide emergency care to the employees in case of workplace related injuries, illness and exposure.
11. Conduct a hygiene inspection of the workplace including the canteen and submit a report along with observations and recommendations
12. Conduct regular audits of the OHC
13. Medicine management at the OHC
14. Maintain proper hygiene & proper disposal of waste
15. Work with the factory safety manager to drive various awareness programs on health
16. Maintain a congenial work environment with workers, management & unions
17. Manage the OHC medical team
18. Reports and communication management

1. Qualification - MBBS, AFIH, (Mandatory)
2. Work Location - Dahanu , Palghar ( Maharashtra )
3. General Shift.
4. 8 Hours duty / 6 days working

Required Candidate profile

• Should be well verse with  English, Hindi
• Should have worked in industrial healthcare previously
• Only MBBS with AFIH certified doctors to apply
