Job Description

About the Role

AB-Initio ETL Data Engineer having very good knowledge on working knowledge on Big Data/Hadoop platform with Spark, Talend ,Hive exposure.
He should be having very good knowledge on Data Control Tool (DCT) in big data environment (must).
He will be involved in Production issue analysis and fixing issue.

Job Responsibilities

Resource should have hands-on development experience with various Ab Initio components (GDE, Express IT, Aquire IT) and other options such as Rollup, Scan, join, Partition by key, Partition by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Interleave, Lookup, etc.
Should have strong technical experience in Design (Mapping specifications, HLD, LLD), Development (Coding, Unit testing) using Ab Initio.
Should have experience with SQL database programming, SQL performance tuning, relational model analysis.
Strong knowledge in developing Ab Initio Acquire IT, UNIX scripts, SQL, HQL (Hive)
Should be able to provide oversight and technical guidance for developers on Ab Initio.
Worked in Agile Methodology in a development team
Demonstrated expertise troubleshooting complex data questions
Ability to work well with other teams to resolve production issues and high problem solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coordination s
Active participation in meetings with business partners and Stakeholder Management

Essential Qualifications

9+ years of experience
Should have Solid work experience on financial project execution
Ab Initio ETL Tool, Big Data, Hadoop, Talend, Hive, Spark
Strong Oracle (SQL/PL - SQL), Teradata, SQL Server
Unix

Desired Qualification

Working Knowledge in Jira, ALM and Confluence
