Job Description
Job Role:
The C&C candidate will be the support lead for both Conferencing services and Video room systems technology globally. The role will involve closely monitoring the video and conferencing platforms and making sure that the system stability is maintained 24/7 by effectively managing the systems.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:- Provide support expertise to internal and external groups in relation to Communications & Collaboration Video service operations
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot issues pertaining to video infrastructure
- Must be comfortable with hands-on technical queries related to functioning of video infrastructure
- Work closely to anticipate and address security concerns with any installed infrastructure or room systems equipment
- Understand, track and drive the resolution of complex technical issues working across the domain to ensure that services owned are responded too and addressed
- Ultimate accountability for the services, potentially call out when Severity issues escalate
Qualifications & Skills:- Deep knowledge of UC&C, Recording & Streaming and A/V solutions in the market
- Good understanding of Networking Technologies (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE equivalent qualification an advantage)
- Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
- Adept in understanding Solutions of Polycom, Avaya, Cisco, Skype, Juniper & HPE
- Good understanding of Microsoft AD,DNS, Exchange and Virtualization Technologies
- Support experience in any of the following areas:
- Standards based Video conferencing Technologies Including Cisco/Polycom/Microsoft/Avaya
- Understanding human centred design methodology for delivery
- Video Storage Recording & Streaming solutions including Cisco/Polycom content solutions. Knowledge 3 rd party solutions like Kaltura is desirable.
- Firewall Traversal solutions including Cisco/Polycom/ Oracle SBC s to understand communication flow between room systems and the core telephony estate
- Knowledge of A/V technologies for room design using Video processors, mixers etc
- Bachelor s Degree in engineering, Information Technology or n equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in supporting Audio/Video Infrastructure; office floor schematics, Unified Communications & Collaboration, Video Recording & Streaming, A/V room technologies.
- Strong documentation and written communication skills are essential.
- Exposure to performance-based programs with strategic milestones, agile working and sprint teams preferred
- Experience and exposure to Banking and Financial services sector in a support role
- Self motivated and driven to deliver in a challenging global multi cultural environments.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations with tight deadlines.
- Excellent written, oral communication and reporting skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly
- Performs other related duties as assigned
