We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect.
Position: Solution Architect (Azure)
Experience: 9 Yrs to 15+ Yrs
Location: Bangalore/Gurgaon/Trivandrum/Cochin
Essential skills and competencies:
- Expert knowledge of containerization technology and orchestration systems (i.e. Docker and Kubernetes) for cloud application development and deployment.
- Experience implementing single- and multi-tenant cloud applications using service mesh technologies, for example: Istio, Kong, Consul, etc.
- Knowledge of SDKs and API integration with Microsoft Azure cloud platform to support deployment automation. Hands-on experience developing cloud-native web applications, especially on Azure.
- Experience configuring NGINX web servers, including advanced scenarios involving Lua scripting or the OpenResty platform.
- Experience developing DevOps solutions and techniques, including modernizing team development and testing pipelines for application testing, release management, and delivery via the Microsoft Azure stack.
- Expertise with continuous integration tools, especially Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with Linux environments, scripting, and command line tools.
- Knowledge of the latest information security best practices related to cloud application architectures and developer workflow.
- Strong exposure to open-source web frameworks outside of the Microsoft stack (especially the Node.js ecosystem), and a passion for learning new technologies.
- Capable of technical deep dives into infrastructure, databases, and applications as needed, yet cognitively agile enough to have strategy discussions with leadership.
- Experience with project planning, implementation, and execution.
- Experience in preparing solution architecture documents using various architecture diagrams like Conceptual, Information, Functional, Logical, Physical, Component, Integration, Security diagrams
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Organized and structured in the completion of tasks
- Experience of working in advisory/consulting/industry environment
- Experience of working in an onshore/offshore operating model with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Flexible to travel to location within India and abroad to deliver project work
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain DevOps systems and tools to support the development and delivery of cloud-native applications deployed on Microsoft Azure.
- Enhance team productivity and agility by implementing continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines designed to deliver cloud applications to multiple clients.
- Help incubate new products and technologies by building a customized, cloud-native platform for the delivery of new tools and solutions with software-defined infrastructure components.
- Translate high-level business problems into a concrete technical requirements and work plans. Responsible for the successful delivery of software products leveraging DevOps systems.
- Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strong experience in UI/UX development using React/Angular
- Supervise, develop and mentor junior team members
- Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members
- Promote the use of current technologies and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provided
- Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with the client offices globally to develop GDS opportunities
- Lead and develop participation in proposals and business development opportunities and participate in responding to proposals and new business opportunities
Education & Experience:
BE (in Electronics or Computers) or equivalent & a relevant PG course;
Relevant work experience of minimum 9 11 years in a big 4 or technology/ consulting set up
