Job Description
We are having Job Opening for Mumbai / Raigad location the position of Safety engineerQualification:- Degree with Three year offshore experience or Diploma with Five year offshore experience.
Reporting to HSE dept Oil & Gas BU on safety performance, its review and take action for continuous improvement & compliance of all safety aspects.
At Onshore:
Implementation and Compliance of client HSE Plan and Procedures.
Awareness & updation of HSE Guidelines, Policy & procedures.
Carry out Internal HSE Audits for Subcontractors offices & workshops.
Carry out Internal HSE Audits of Vessel / Barges before mobilization / before Safety audits.
Coordination & data collection from all sites for preparation of Base Monthly HSE Report for submission
Ensure project Targets & Objectives are achieved.
Carry out HSE Induction, Training, and Offshore project specific trainings to all personnel including subcontractors.
Organizing & conducting internal training programmes for all employees including subcontractors and review for further development.
Coordinate & conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Job safety Analysis (JSA) and Hazard Identification & Risk Assessments (HIRA) during the development phase.
Preparation & monitoring of HSE Performance Evaluation Sheet and review.
Carry out Incident / Accident trend analysis and reviewing performance keeping records of injuries and dangers.
At Offshore:
Implementation and compliance of Project HSE manual and procedures.
Complying with PTW system implementation onboard vessel / Barge & at offshore site.
Carry out Monthly & Quarterly HSE audits of Vessels, Barges and offshore sites.
Preparation of Daily, Weekly & Monthly HSE reports of the site.
Conducting & coordinating Health, Hygiene & Safety inspections onboard barge/ Vessel.
Installation of Fire and Safety Equipments at project sites.
Preparation & implementation of Site Evacuation Plan & procedure after consultation with onboard project rep, Asset team, Vessel / Barge Master, CEIL/EIL reps & TPIs.
Ensure the validation of NED pass of all project personnel prior to mobilization, after mobilization and during offshore stay onboard vessel / Barge.
Conduct mock drills and coordinate with platform and Barge/Vessel Radio Room & Control room.
Coordinate & conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Job safety Analysis (JSA) and Hazard Identification & Risk Assessments (HIRA) and ensure necessary risk control measures are in place before carrying out the job.
Coordinate & conduct SIMOPs (Simultaneous Operations) with Platform authorities, & TPI at offshore sites.
Liaising with Platform authorities for Vessel entry into 500 mtr Zone; for Anchor handling permissions within 500 mtr zone of platform; for Gangway installation / dismantling.
Liaising and coordination with Platform authorities, , TPI & Sub contractors for review on Method statements before installation.
Coordinate & conduct daily Tool Box Meetings at site.
Coordinate & conduct Monthly & Quarterly HSE Audits at Site & onboard Vessel / Barge.
Implementation of Hazard Communication and reporting system.
Implementation of Near Miss reporting and maintaining record.
Coordinate & conduct routine Site Safety Inspection and Reporting for improvement.
Incident/Accident Investigation and Reporting.
Coordinate & conduct Site HSE meetings, Monthly Safety Committee Meetings onboard Vessel / Barge.
Ensuring safe access and working environment by ensuring effective HSE standards and SOPs in place.
Organizing & conducting internal training programmes for all project personnel onboard Vessel / Barge.
Implementation of SPOT Card observation system at site.
Implementation of HSE incentive & awards policy at site.
To ensure completion of HSE induction to all arriving crew to vessel.
Coordinate with Vessel / Barge medic for monthly inspection of medical equipments and medicines onboard Vessel / Barge.
Effective implementation of T-Card system onboard Vessel / Barge during entire offshore season.
To ensure safe transfer of personnel from vessel to Crew Boat, vessel to vessel, Crew Boat to platform, vessel to platform and during transfer through Personnel Transfer Basket.
