Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for design, development, and implementation of SAP MDG custom objects.
- Responsible for defining the requirements and create architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms
- Responsible for creating and updating the detailed design, technical and functional documentation, and ensure timely communication within the team.
- Perform Coding, Testing and QA in ABAP, BRF+, Web Dynpro and related programming languages, as and when required by the customer
- Responsible for crafting the right solution that will help customers to efficiently use the SAP MDG applications
- Responsible for bringing together the pieces of the architecture for all aspects of the system and then communicates the architecture to the stakeholders from software development tools to the high-level design of the "off-the-shelf" components and services required for the system to function
- Responsible for handling and mitigating any techno-functional problems that may rise within the entire development lifecycle and post-sales support and go-lives
- Responsible for front ending and communicating with all stakeholders
- Responsible for allocating development task/activities to the team member
- Provide inputs as needed to issue like tool and environment selection
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or minimum of 7- 10 years experience with full life cycle SAP MDG implementations.
- Ability to implement SAP MDG solutions for various data domains and objects, not limited to Materials, Finance and Vendor/Customer
- Expertise in technical skills such as: ABAP, ABAP OOPS, ABAP Web Dynpro, SAP FPM, IDOC, Data Dictionary, CRM WEB UI, NWBC, and Enterprise Portal
- Executed data model enhancements, Functional validation and assisted in BRF & UI enhancements
- Data modelling and Process modelling,
- UI modelling, (Design and Creation of UI, Value restriction, Define navigation elements, CBA)
- Derivations, Duplicate checks Data replication framework (Data transfer, ALE/IDOC, Key & value mapping, MDG Export & import master data, Convert master data)
- Configuration Rule-based Workflow (BRF Plus)
- SAP MDG Business Role Design
- Data Replication Techniques (SOA Service, ALE connection)
- Data Transfer (Export Process, Import Master Data Process and Convert Master Data)
- Deep understanding of techno-functional problems and ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Deep understanding of SAP ECC and SAP MDG capabilities
- Deep knowledge in various SAP modules
- Should have extremely good knowledge on SDLC processes
Good Exposure
- Knowledge of S4 HANA and good understanding on SD, MM, PM, Retail process as a technical consultant.
- Good to have BOL, and Genil Programming skills
- Good/ fair understanding on Data migration process of any master object like Material/Customer/Vendor /Finance etc.
Advantage
- Worked on Integrations with other SAP applications (Vertex, IS-MDG (DQR) etc) and Non- SAP / third- party services.
- Worked on any SAP MDG custom objects to build solution on client requirements.
- Worked on any SAP/ MDG Accelerators.
