About the Role
Acts in a high-level technical role as a designer for major computer applications utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Designs platforms, writes code, and develops tests. Leads multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis. Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process. May act as project/team leader.
Job Responsibilities
This developer will lead during the analysis, design and development activities. The developer will assist with Development and Deployment activities and will share in accountability for the success of the solution post-deployment. In general, We are looking for a SSIS/SSRS developer having 6 - 7 years of experience , who has played a key role within each phase of the software development lifecycle. This includes customer interaction, validating requirements, system design, development of complex SSIS packages, SSRS Reports on SQL Server database primarily. The candidate will be asked to work both independently and as a member of a small team. Excellent communication skills are essential. Overall we are looking for self-driven smart people who can get things done. Qualifications The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
1. Must be a good problem solver;
2. Must have excellent communication skills
3. Must have hands on experience with each aspect of the software development lifecycle;
4. Must be self-motivated and get things done pro-actively
5. Must have hands-on experience withSSIS, SSRS and SQL Server 2005/ 2008.
6. Must have strong SQL experience with relational database concepts. The candidate should also be familiar with good database design patterns and concepts [referential integrity, primary keys, foreign keys, many to many relationships, indexes, normal forms etc...]. (SQL)
Essential Qualifications
4 Yr. s Bachelor s Degree in Technology (or) Graduation/Post Graduation in Computer science.
Knowledge and Hands-on experience in business intelligence reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI, SSAS Cubes, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
Strong Data warehousing concepts and good analytic skills
Experience in a business intelligence role, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools
Good understanding of global trends and practices in Technology
Knowledge of other ETL tools like Ab Initio is a plus, and knowledge and experience on any of HDFS implementation is a plus.
